Step by step, Mundhra Masterbatches has been creating milestones in its journey over the years. Diwan Mundhra Bros. Pvt. Ltd. was the first company of the Mundhra Group – a legendary foundation with varied interests in cement, petroleum, tiles, soda ash, packed tea, and more registered in the year 1947.The tradition of excellence set forth has been carried forward and today the manufacturing of high quality masterbatches is being carried out in the same company by the third generation of Mundhras through Mundhra Masterbatches, which strives to achieve more accolades in the journey onwards.
1948
Awarded as the sole distributor of M/s Hudswell Clarke & Co. Ltd. Leeds (U.K) for Cold Blast Lanterns.
1953
Acquired the agency of Bharat Petroleum (formerly known as M/s Burma Shell) for Petroleum products.
1970
Became the stockist and indenting agents of M/s Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO) for Cement.
1980
Became stockist & indenting agents of Barium & Sodium Sulphide.
1987
Acquired distributorship for Soda Ash from M/s Gujarat Heavy Chemicals Ltd. (GHCL).
1988
Became distributors and indenting agents of M/s Graphite Bicarb India Ltd. for Glass Fibre Plastics.
1989
Became distributors and indenting agents of M/s Graphite Bicarb India Ltd. for Glass Fibre Plastics.
1990
Became Indenting Agents of M/s Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd. for M.S Barrels.
1993
Acquired distributorship of M/s Plastic Chemex, Baroda for Masterbatches.
1994
Entitled as Sole Distributors and agents in India of M/s Color Service (GmBH) Germany for Color Masterbatch.
2001
Became distributors of Nirma Ltd for Soda Ash.
2011
Started our first manufactruring unit at Bawana with 2 production lines and state-of-the-art laboratory and color matching equipment.
2012
Our in-house developed Masterbatch gains industry wide acceptance for its uncompromising quality.
2013
Mundhra Masterbatch ramps up production by adding another production line to its kitty within the shortest possible time in any manufacturing start-up. Awarded ISO 9001:2008 Certfication.
2014
Mundhra Masterbatch gets approval from major automotive companies such as Maruti, HAVELLS, GM Pens.etc.
2015
Another feather to our hat; started our second manufacturing unit at Bawana Industrial Area (Delhi) dedicated for Black masterbatches with a high power extruder; a full-fledged lab and advanced inventory and material handling equipments.
2016
Mundhra Masterbatch participates in various trade exhibitions held in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad and receives the Best Stall Award in Plast Asia 2016 held in Delhi.
2017
Merger of previous two manufacturing units in one at Sonipat (Haryana). (MEGA UNIT)
